Internet Explorer 9 does not seems khổng lồ be available for windows XP... Guess you should get with IE 8

With all the future security issues going with XP not being updated, you should consider talking lớn your manager (if he"s not yet knowing all the risks coming with an outdated operating system).

No. IE9 is not compatible with Windows XP.

Sadly, we run a few XP machines still. We all ways install chrome on the desktop . As IE8 is the highest version you can go on XP, which is a pretty outdated Browser.

At least with chrome it will work, and can be updated easily.

The suggestion is, get off XP. If your own in-house tiện ích no longer works on your ancient OS, then what more reason could you possibly need?

Ie stopped at V8 for WinXP, this OS is now EOL và should be classed as a business risk. If it is not possible lớn upgrade, then youll need khổng lồ resort to Chrome or firefox/Opera as the default browser (if your title supports it) otherwise your S.O.L

TBVH lớn be worrying over XP migration at this late stage.........you should be bricking it now for hệ thống 2003 EOL in July! XP "should" be a distant scary migration memory..........

Even for computers on Windows 7, I recommend khổng lồ use Chrome (or Firefox) instead of IE

IE is really a mess. Many website sites are not working with it, especially when a logon sequence is required.

Indeed.

The weirdest part about this thread. He shares the same name as the Chair of the Information công nghệ department at the college i went to...

Windows XP SP1 - latest version possible 6

Windows XP SP2/3 - latest version possible 7

Windows Vista/7/8 - Current version 11

Chrome still works on XP+ -- but I would highly recommend getting with Win 7 ASAP...

Could also use something lượt thích Citrix Xenapp running on a vps with IE9 or above on it, and run it that way, but I think the licensing cost would be prohibitive. But that really is more fixing the problem on the wrong end. Just my .02 I would look into upgrading to win 7, và then wait for the verdict lớn be in on windows 10 & skip windows 8 all together.

No. Go khổng lồ Chrome or FF.

IE8 will work on XP SP2, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/products/ie-8/system-requirements . I have successfully installed Chrome on Win 2000.

IE:8 is the best you can run on XP but you need to lớn make sure you have SP3 installed as some websites wont work with secure logins on SP2. Or go with Firefox or Chrome.

IE 8 is the highest version you can run on XP. You should either switch to Windows 7/8 or use Chrome or Firefox. Before XP went unsupported, I used Chrome on my XP machines (which I no longer have).
